I had a heavy dinner and was walking home with a Tin coke in my hand. Trying to gulp the coke, it struck me that the can is anything but user friendly.

I don’t know whether Coke came up with the Tin Can concept or someone else did but what I couldn’t fathom was how such a design could even be a hit.

How could it be?

No, it is not cheap. Tin coke is more expensive than Pet bottle. Is it better than a pet bottle to carry around? Is it cool or hep to drink Coke from a tin can?

Without googling, the only possible reason that I can think of is to avoid plastics. Hmmm, that sounds quite a plausible reason but I really doubt whether they sold it using that line. Even if that is the case, they still have the PET bottle versions in the stores as well.

So, I am where I started. I didn’t get the answer for my question but something else was reinforced in the Entrepreneur-me.

Market strategists always say how one can sell anything as long as you have a good sales person and a good marketing strategy. Seriously, how true!

If they can sell Coke and more importantly Coke in a TIN CAN, one should be able to sell just about anything.

I am just bored and more importantly I am waiting on a few important things.  What better than to talk about it and reduce my frustrations. And yeah, it has also been sometime since I wrote a post.

Am sure everyone has played this game and am also sure that none of you liked it. It is the great reality game called The Waiting Game.

For all serious stuffs such as waiting for a school admission, job interview, business proposals, visa processes, love proposals, or anything remotely important the design of the system is such that you will not have a decision immediately. You just have to HAVE TO undergo the torturous waiting period before you know the decision.

What are the rules of the game not to lose it?

The simple and most important rules of the game are:

1)      Do no act on impulse. This is one game where you need to control your impulse action.

2)      Do nothing. Just absolutely nothing with anything related to the subject in question.

3)      If possible, do not think about whatever you are waiting on.

Yeah. Easier said than done. And nothing that you didn’t know! 

As much as you and I hate, there is nothing one can do about it. L

There I wasted 2 minutes of your waiting time. Hooray! All the best with whatever you are waiting for/on.
